WordPress Careplans

What is a WordPress Careplan?

Just like the software on your phone or computer, your website also needs updating. These updates provide new features and speed improvements, but more importantly deal with bugs and vulnerabilities, thus keeping your site secure and healthy.

Why is it so important?

If your website is a crucial part of your business, how would it affect your revenue if it slowed down or had periods of unavailability? Worse still, what if it stopped working entirely? Just as a physical shop needs looking after, so does your online business.

How does a careplan work?

I provide different levels of support depending on your needs. If you are happy changing or adding content on your site, my Guardian plan simply keeps your site updated and secure. If you prefer to spend your time running your business, I can keep your website content updated too. Take a look at my Caretaker plans, which include everything in the Guardian plan, plus development time.

What is ‘development time’?

Over time, you will find that you need to make tweaks and changes to your website. It might be a new product for your online shop, or the addition of a social media feed. You may need to update your company information in the footer or amend your site’s privacy policy or terms and conditions. The really great thing is that any of these things can be treated as development time. With good WordPress developers being very difficult to find and often quite expensive, a Caretaker plan ensures I’ll be here for you when you need me. I try my best to make any changes within 72 hours (let me know if you need emergency changes). And by using Direct Debit, you don’t even need to worry about invoicing or waiting for funds to clear. Take a look at the plan details below and you’ll be amazed at how good value they are.

Am I tied in?

No, I don’t do contracts. You can cancel at any time. I’m very confident you won’t though.

What if I don’t need you to make any changes this month?

I’ll roll the unused hours to next month (up to a maximum of three months). Simple.

What if I only need some one-off updates?

I can do that too. Take a look here. I strongly recommend considering a careplan, as the pricing is set to provide the best value for you.
